ShofarFiles™

ShofarNexus™ is based on ShofarFiles™ which are simple XML files that define everything.  They are POX or Plain Old Xml, meaning that they do not use the advanced features of XML.  This keeps them very readable by POP (Plain Old People) and can be easily edited with a simple text editor.

Just as a typical computer’s file system looks like “Folder / Folder / File”, and within the computer we deal with “Object / Object / Value”, the ShofarFile™ uses a consistent “Element / Element / Attribute” structure.  All values are in attributes and not as element text.
